Protesting employees caned in Srinagar
April 6th, 2011 - 4:04 pm ICT by IANSSrinagar, April 6 (IANS) Police used batons and water cannon here Wednesday to disperse slogan shouting Jammu and Kashmir government employees demanding their arrears and a rise in retirement age.
The employees came out of their offices at many places in the city, violating prohibitory orders banning the assembly of five or more people.
