Prime Minister calls on President

New Delhi, July 23 (ANI): The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, called on President Pratibha Patil at Rashtrapati Bhavan today.
The meeting lasted about 40 minutes.
Dr. Singh briefed President Patil about his recent visit to Italy in connection with the G-8 Summit, France on the occasion of its National Day and Egypt for the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Summit.
Both also discussed the on-going Budget Session of Parliament and other matters of national and international importance. (ANI)
