President to attend closing ceremony of Indian National Science Academy
December 7th, 2009 - 12:49 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )Kolkata, Dec 7 (ANI): President Pratibha Devi Singh Patil will attend the closing ceremony of the Platinum Jubilee celebration of the Indian National Science Academy at the Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics here today.
The President is on a three-day visit to West Bengal.
Distinguished scientists from across the globe participated in the four-day long conference held here. Matters on climate changes, food security, energy conservation, water resources and other current issues of science cropped up during their discussions.
President Patil is also expected to inaugurate the solar system power project at the Raj Bhavan here this evening. (ANI)
