Though no decision was reached at the meeting, the two leaders are said to have stressed that the three parties- Communist Party of Nepal-Maoist (CPN-M), Nepali Congress and CPN (UML)- should arrive at an understanding on key issues like power sharing, election of the president and army integration.
According to Nepalnews, senior Maoist leader Dr. Baburam Bhattarai and Home Minister Krishna Situala were also present at the meeting.
Earlier in the afternoon, the three-party meeting had ended inclusively, but the leaders agreed to find ways to resolve the current deadlock in Tuesday’s meeting. (ANI)
