Police officers misbehave with media at Delhi AICC session

New Delhi, Nov.2 (ANI): Police officers and personnel deputed for security duties at the Talkatora Stadium for the day-long session of the All India Congress Committee, were on Tuesday, accused of misbehaving with some media persons.
According to some media persons and a spokesman of the party, Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajeev Ranjan and Inspector Narendra Singh Chauhan did not allow a media person to enter the venue of the AICC session.
AICC Secretary Tom Vadakkan said that he had to call an Inspector General of the Special Protection Group (SPG) to sort matters out.
Media persons said that they approached Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram on the issue, and he said that he would look into it.
The Congress has said that it will appoint a fact-finding body to probe the matter. (ANI)
