PM’s ‘New 15 Point Programme’ focuses on development in minority areas
March 7th, 2011 - 4:43 pm ICT by ANINew Delhi, Mar 7 (ANI): Minister of State for Minority Affairs Vincent H. Pala has said that 15 percent of targets and outlays under various schemes included in the Prime Minister’s ‘New 15 Point Programme’ should be earmarked for minorities.
Giving this information in written reply to a question in the Lok Sabha, Pala said that the progress of implementation of the new programme, which includes flagship welfare programmes, is monitored closely and reviewed by the Government on half yearly basis and by the Ministry on quarterly basis.
He further informed that the programme was revised and announced in June 2006. (ANI)
