Mysore, Aug.14 (ANI): Senior Bharatiya Janata Party Leader and former Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani on Saturday targetted Prime Minister Manmohan Singh by stating that the office of the Prime Minister has been “progressively devalued” over the past few years.
“The most important democratic institution is the institution of Prime Minister. It has been our view that in the past few years, this institution has been progressively devalued”, he said, addressing a mammoth BJP rally here.
Advani said: ‘In a democracy, while holding of elections every five years is important, what’s equally important is protection of democratic institutions. (ANI)
