Pilot killed as MiG-27 crashes in Siliguri, IAF orders inquiry
February 16th, 2010 - 10:46 pm ICT by ANISiliguri, Feb.16 (ANI): An Indian Air Force pilot was killed as the MiG-27, he was flying, crashed here on Tuesday between 6.30 to 7.00 p.m.
The incident occurred in Hasimara area of West Bengal’s Siliguri district in the evening.
The MIG reportedly crashed just after its take off.
Meanwhile, the Indian Air Force has ordered an inquiry into the incident, a private channel reported. (ANI)
