September 6th, 2008 - 6:46 pm ICT by ANI -

Washington, Sept 6 (ANI): English musician Pete Doherty has denies that he suffered a drug overdose in Austria recently.

He said that an overdose was not possibly happen because could find any drugs while he was there.

Recent reports suggested that the Babyshambles frontman had to be revived by medics after collapsing from a drug overdose shortly before a gig in Graz, Austria on August 25.

However, Doherty insists that the media stories were completely fabricated, and untrue.

I know that was absolute rubbish. I was in Austria (but), I mean, between me and you… it would”ve been lovely to have enough stuff but there was nothing about, Contactmusic quoted him as telling MTV News.

“To be honest it was a really clean week - and it was complete rubbish,” he added. (ANI)
