Patna, Jan. 23 (ANI): A large number of women activists including housewives under the banner of Rashtriya Mahila Brigade carried out a massive protest march and held rally against militancy here on Friday.
Holding placards reading messages criticizing terror and sloganeering against Pakistan, the protesting women were demanding that the Central Government must force Pakistan to find out the culprits who conducted brutal attack in the city of Mumbai and other terror acts elsewhere in India.
Rashtriya Mahila Brigade president, Anita Sinha said: “Today on behalf of the citizens of the country, the Rashtriya Mahila Brigade wants to appeal to the Central Government that we are all united and we are united in our fight against terrorism. If India failed to show firmness against Pakistan, they would again terrorise us. India has forgiven Pakistan in the past but now there is no question of forgiving them, as we have full proof evidences against them. We have a feeling that India in no way should come in Pakistans fake assurances. We want our Central government to force Pakistan for a quick action or else.”
India has witnessed a huge outrage among citizens across the country since the last Novembers Mumbai terror attacks that killed 179 people, including foreign nationals, and left over 300 as wounded. (ANI)
