New Delhi, Feb.23 (ANI): Lok Sabha session was adjourned today as the lawmakers demanding a separate Telangana state created uproar in the house.
Members of Telugu Desam Party, Telangana Rashtra Samithi and other supporters of the cause stalled Parliament by shouting slogans over the demand for a separate state.
Meira Kumar, the Speaker, adjourned the House till 11.30am. After resuming, the protest continued and the House was adjourned again till 2.00pm.
The members of these parties have undertaken a ‘Non-Cooperation Movement’ in Andhra Pradesh against the government, for not introducing a Bill for the creation of a separate state of Telangana. (ANI)
