London, Oct 17 (ANI): Two British women, who have been pals for 30 years, were more than overwhelmed to discover that they are sisters.

Deborah Day, 44, was adopted at two months old separating her from big sister Marilyn Morris, 45.

But the two sisters met when they were teenagers, while working in a supermarket and became pals.

The truth about the sisters being related came out when their oldest sister Sally Griffith launched a search for her lost family; it was at that reunion Deborah and Marilyn were shocked to realize they were more than mere pals.

When we worked together we realized we were similar. But I never imagined Marilyn was my sister, The Sun quoted Deborah, as saying.

Weve got years of catching up to do and were enjoying every minute, she added.

Both the sisters, who have three children each, live within a mile of each other in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, send their children to the same school.

Debbie and I look so alike. Its wonderful because we have such a great family now. All our children are friends, Marilyn said.

It was all worth it. But I cant believe we all lived so close without ever bumping in to each other, oldest sister Sally Griffith said. (ANI)
