Washington, November 22 (ANI: Just after she officially pardoned a turkey for Thanksgiving at a farm in Wasilla, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin conducted a TV interview with another bird being slaughtered in the background.
A Triple D Farms worker was seen feeding a turkey into a grinder, while Palin was taking about returning to work in Alaska.
According to Fox News, the farm worker even turned around several times to watch Palins on-going interview with a KTUU-TV reporter.
During the interview, the former Republican vice-presidential candidate called the pardoning experience neat, and was subsequently told by the videographer what was going on behind her.
She, however, let the interview continue, says the web site.
Pardoning a turkey is tradition for governors in the days leading up to Thanksgiving, following a White House custom that began in 1947. (ANI)
