Paks Yousuf will miss first part of IPL

Mumbai, Mar.30 (ANI): Pakistan batsman Mohammad Yousuf is unlikely to play in the first stage of the Twenty20 Indian Premier League (IPL), as lawyers representing the rebel Indian Cricket League (ICL) have said he has to wait till the judgement on the arbitration proceedings are revealed on April 30 this year.
ICL legal adviser Hitesh Jain said that the panel had reserved its final order on the case for April 30.
Our case is that Yousuf has not returned the advance amount to ICL or to an authorised agent of ICL. The person to whom Yousuf claimed to have returned the money is not ICLs agent in Pakistan , and therefore, ICL has not received any money from Yousuf. ICL still holds that there is a binding contract between ICL and Yousuf and he cant participate in any competing league during the term of the contract, Jain said.
We are expecting a judgement where Yousuf will be prevented from participating in the IPL. (ANI)
