Pakistan is a `Chick Magnet’

Princess Diana’s great love was a British doctor of Pakistani origin, Hasnat Khan, whom she desperately wanted to marry say her friends and live in Pakistan. Jemima Khan, the lush lipped, luxurious maned blonde, actually married a Pakistani, the hottie Imran Khan and lived in Pakistan, covering her head and wearing diaphanous salwar kameezes. What is it with blonde beauties and Pakistani men? Why is Pakistan such a chick magnet?
Let’s put aside the image that Pakistan conjures up these dayssuicide bombers, assassinated politicians, military dictators, Talibanisation, venom-spewing madrassas, atrocities on women, lawyers being bashed up and the media being stiffled. Let us put aside all that’s unpleasant about Pakistan because that’s what these women did. They just looked at the romance of the Pakistani man. Don’t choke. Remember this is the land of Mirza Ghalib, Allama Iqbal and Faiz. This is the land where the most beautiful and romantic Urdu poetry was written. And, which woman can resist being courted by shayari.
Imagine a tall, good looking Pakistani doctor quoting Urdu shayari (Dr Hasnat Khan) to a love-starved Brit princess (Diana) and then comparing him to a vegetarian, horse loving, talking to plant gora-like Prince Charles. Diana read books on Islam and, is said to have kept a photograph of “my dishy doctor” at the Kensington Palace. But Dodi happened and thus ended a doomed love affair. What happened to the doctor? He went ahead and had an arranged marriage with Hadia Sher Ali of Afghan origin. That marriage didn’t last and he lives with his parents in Jhelum.
This is the land of tall and good-looking men. No Asif Zardari, Nawaz Sharif and Pervez Musharraf are not the only ones. Take a look at some of the famous Indian actors, all originating from Pakistan Raj Kapoor, Dilip Kumar, Dev Anand and Balraj Sahni. The list is endless. Muhammad Rafi came from a family of barbers in Bhatti Gate, Lahore. Pran, the sneering villain, lived in Qila Gujjar Singh, also in Lahore. Another famous Lahori was Om Prakash. The actor who captured many a heart when he danced to “aye meri zohra jabeen tujhe maloom nahi, tu abhi tak hai haseen aur mai javaan, tujpe qurbaan meri jaan, Balraj Sahni, was also from Lahore. Sahni, in fact was the secretary general of the All India Communist Party before he decided to join the film industry. Imagine if he hadn’t joined films, today we would have had Balraj Sahni in the UPA coaltion. Aah! What a delicious thought.
The Khan brothers, Feroz, Sanjay and their lesser-known siblings are also Pathans from the North West Frontier Province. So, technically speaking, Fardeen Khan is of Pakistani origin. Sharukh Khan’s parents migrated from Peshawar and Rawalpindi. The current heartthrob Ranbir also has Pathan-Pakistani origins.
A tall fair handsome Pathan is legendary in the subcontinent for his boorish and unpredictable behaviour. If girls today swoon over the long locks of Dhoni or the swagger of Sreesanth, one almost feels sorry for them. Those of us who lost our adolescent hearts to Imran Khan in the eighties had it better. While there were rumours of him cavorting with Zeenat Aman, she found another Pathan, the already married Sanjay Khan. Imran went on to marry a Jewish heiress Jemima.
Jemima is divorced from Imran Khan, but was recently seen at a rally in London protesting against his incarceration by the military regime in Pakistan. After almost a decade of being separated from Khan, and having acquired the mealy-mouthed Hugh Grant as boyfriend, she hasn’t severed her links with Pakistan. Jemima recently commented on the political affairs of the country, “the justification for the selection of Benazir’s son as chairman was that only a Bhutto could provide unity within the party. If so, then why not 25-year-old Fatima Bhutto, who is arguably more qualified for the job than her teenage face-booking cousin? ” Talking of names, Jemima had adopted the last name of Khan and never went back to her maiden name, which was Goldsmith.
Will she dump commitment-phobic Grant and go back to Pakistan to be with Imran once again is a loaded question. Imran hasn’t remarried and he desperately needs something to prop up his sagging political career. When Benazir was assassinated, Imran was in India. The pictures in the papers were of him lounging by the poolside at socialite Parmeshwar Godrej’s residence in Mumbai. Jemima seemed more politically savvy, in her reaction to the succession battle in the PPP. Stoking flames, she said: “If everything’s in a name, Fatima need not have changed hers in order to inherit. Brought up in Pakistan, unlike Bilawal, and a native speaker, she is an established writer and political commentator. At least, she has some work experience. Aunt Benazir’s first-ever job was Prime Minister of a 160-million-strong nation.”
The region of Pakistan has been invaded and occupied by Aryans, Greeks, Huns, Arabs, Turks, Mongols and Eurasians. And, let us not forget the birth of civilization took place here in the Indus Valley in 2000 B.C. Quite naturally, its people are culturally and socially wealthy. The West acknowledges it. Wonder when the Pakistanis will wake up to this fact. (ANI)

Yeah, your article is absoloutely correct in its assertions that many of the Bollywood actors and their families originates from Pakistan. The Kapoors all hail from Peshawer and are in fact Hindu Pathans (by looking at them, it is quiet obvious that they are Pathans - so fair and tall as well as fighter spirit and love for food).
I think you forgot to mention also that Suresh Oberoi also hails from Quetta, Pakistan region AND Jeevan (father of Kiran Kumar) hails from one of the northern areas of Pakistan, possibly Chitral or Gilgit.
And offcourse coming to many of the KHANS of Bollywood like families of Amjad, Kader, Feroz, Salim, Mazhar & Amir Khan are in fact all Pathans who either hail from Pakistan Or Afghanistan. Kader Khan was infact born in kabul or kandahar.

It has nothing to do with how tall and fair-skinned and handsome Pakistani men are. White women already have tall, fair-skinned, handsome men (with blue/green eyes) around them. It is just the manipulative and deceiving nature of Pakistani men that they unknowingly and ignorantly fall for. This is all part of a their plan - one of the best ways to convert ignorant and innocent western women to Islam. Most of these marriages/affairs are not successful anyway and they seem to go for women in trouble. No self-respecting white guy wants Britney Spears and everybody know what kind of person that Adnan guy is.

Jemima Khan was hardly a woman in trouble when she married Imran? The marriage failed because Imran was on the road pursuing his political career.
If decided to mind his interests, i’m sure it would have worked out…after they are still very close!
Forced conversions is a fallacy pushed by indians, but how can they explain the largest muslim majority which lives in Indonesia….no military campaign or occupation ever took place ther!!

Sorry to say this but
a) Adnan Ghalib is not Pakistani but an Afghan came from Afghanistan back in 1977 from Afghanistan, the fact that he wants to move there and not Afghanistan maybe another reason.
b) This article does carry some elements which does not fit well with the truth like for example the article claim Fardeen Khan is not Pakistani but in fact he hates pakistanis (India Time interview article 1994-5) he was from Afghanistan.
c) The article seems to be confused with whom to call Pakistani and whom to call Afghan or Pathan. The fact that Pakistanis are of Indian or Indic origin, because of high element of Indian identity with be making up 85% of Pakistan’s total population and as for those 8% Pathans who live in Pakistan about a numbers of 12-15 million cannot be called Pakistanis since they up to this date they did not accepted Pakistan as their nation and as we all know how over 20 Pakistani soldiers dies in Pathani areas since Pathans or Afghanis consider Pakistani soldiers to be “Invaders” and Pathans does not like “Invaders”

Proper title to this article should have been Pathan’s are a chick magnet(who are mostly Pakistni’s). Pakistan has more than double the population of Pathan’s than Afganistan, and who ever wrote that Pakistani Pathan’s are not patriotic Pakistanis, is mistaken bigtime. Namak haram Karazi should’nt forget that it was Pakistan who gave him and three milion other Afghans refuge in the time of need. (By the way there is no such thing as a hindu Pathan, because they are entirely Muslims)

Up high in waziristan mountains live Mahsood pathans and similar to them are some nomadic pathan tribes like Dhotani who are a paragon of male beauty:tall ,handsom,fair like europeans and overwhelmingly blond.Most are great eyed.tragedy is that their male beauty is hidden from the rest of the world and media.other pathan city dwelers have deteriorated racially due to mixed mariages and are a shadow of their former seleves.

indians lately have really been pissing me off, as I am sure many others in the world.
I mean take the case of aggression jaswant singh had to deal with just cause he wrote a book on Jinnah in complimentry tone, then there over the top warmongering reaction to mumbai blast, offcourse the ipl cricket fiasco realting to PAK players and now the shoib/sania wedding which their media has covered so negatively that at times when listening to their news networks it feels like u r listening to some uneducated third class person in some run down underworld area.there is nothing great about india and unless it starts treating its neighbours with more respect especially Pak and comes out of its complexes and hangups it will never rise.

Well I am also a Pakistani and am with a European girl. atleast my love story is based on honest affection and commitment.
I think the biggest thing with Paki men is that they are more romantic. And comparatively Paki men are much more attractive than indians and are much more bolder than many other men. Plus Indian men are widely unpopular for their lack of manliness.Atleast i can see it here where i live. Women want something different and maybe thats what Pakis give them alot more different than what they have ever seen. Maybe more Natural!

That’s the 1st I have heard of that. I know the Kapoors emanating from Prithivraj Kapoor are of PATHAN stock (and they damn well look like one as well. Also I understand ‘Kapoor’ in general are Kathri Panjabis with the exception of Prithivraj Kapoor clan (U should listen to one of Shammi Kapoor’s interview on UTube where he admits candidly that their family are of Hindu PATHAN stock. Also have u noiced the Prithiovraj Kapoor clan wear PATHAN headgear in their weddings especially their girls weddings).
But Anil Kapoor, unless his family are relatives to Prithivraj Kapoor family, then I could believe he is PATHAN stock.
But Munna Khan, let me ask you where is the source of info. that tells u Anil Kapoor is of PATHAN stock?? Kindly substantiate your claim as this is the 1st time I have heard of this.

@ Ashraf Ali Khan… I disagree with your reasoning. Pakistan is indeed a mixture of various races. I am a Yousafzai pathan and proud Pakistani. I have Afghan origins but I consider myself a Pakistani first and last.
Secondly at the end of the day, we are all humans and one family, whether pathan or anyone else. :)

Only a fool would deny that there are some very attractive Pakistani men and some very good looking Pakistani women. Not all, but there’s enough to go around.
However, the basis for white women preferring Pakistani men is laughable at best.
As an Indian guy married to an attractive Harvard-educated white girl, I doubt the guys being Pakistani had anything to do with these women falling for them.
I mean, after all, you have folks like Amartya Sen married to Emma Georgina Rothschild or Liz Hurley married to Arun Nayar.
At the end of the day, women like tall, dark, handsome men - and wealth and power. The subcontinent is quite blessed in this regard, and Pakistan more so. Therefore, is it any surprise that some of the better looking men from the region get laid?

We woke up to it a long time ago sweet heart. We believe in a higher purpose that just reading poetry and having a few laughs. We need to solve our issues on kashmir and then you will find our hands open. We have always been open people however it difficult to remain neutral when a part of your people are suffering, it not fair for me to enjoy my life while other suffer. Remove the suffering and we will go back to the poetry loving harmless friendly funky group we always were.

@ munna Khan I kind of suspected Anil Kapoor’s connection with Pakistan knowing that his Kapoor family are close to Prithivraj Kapoor family (although not sure if they r relatives). But you mention his connection with NWFP, that does not mean he is of PATHAN stock.I mean there are many non-PATHANS living in Frontier. Viod Khanna and Prem Nath for example were born in Peshawer, hence they would quiet possibly have lived there some short period of their lives but they are not PATHANS.
And nothing much to it, but what I mean by PATHAN stock is simply of PATHAN gene or background, thats all.
And @notakhan PATHAN character is never defensive but as a warrior race much feared and respected by the biggest armies of world like British, russians and more, we don’t talk we shoot.We are responsible for Indian subcontinents biggest personalities and characters down the history lane…I know for a fact that there are many who even though r not PATHANS but pretend they are one just to get some attention, respect and admiration. So do not distort and disgrace yourself here by such comments - it only reflects on your character or lack of it and jealousy/insecurity towards PATHANS of India/Pak.

Shoaib Akhtar is not a Pathan but not only Indian Super models, Women world over fall for him.
Wasim Akram is not a Pathan, but Sushmita Sen has a crush on him.
We ‘PAKISTANIS’ dont care for how many chicks fall for us, as its our second nature to be Bold. Therefore, I cannot count on much more incidences like this.
So Indians, please stop being Jealous. ACCEPT that you can only produce a Male Beauty like SUNIL SHETTY. All other so called Indian Superstars are actually Pathans and infact of Pakistani Origin.

Iran Khan isnt Pushtun hes seriake a sub branch of punjabi also pustuns are like 40% of pak population.add tht with balouchis,chitralis,kashmiris and punjabis whom indians consider a martial race or better then all other indian ethnicities…

I am a Pakistani from Kashmir and this is what I have to say : it is a bit caricatural but beautiful and less beautiful people are everywhere … and as ‘Pakistanis’ are concerned, they are of the same ethnical stock as the North Indians.
And about the Kapoors being Pashtuns, it is not true : the Kapoors are ethnically Punjabi (Orithviraj is in fact from Faisalabad) but culturally declare themselves as Pashtuns, because they live amongst them. It is Shammi Kapoor himself who said that on his website. Another Punjabi who describle himself as Pashtun is Manoj Kumar.

If someone is panjabi, why would he not declare it.I mean I know lot of panjabis and belive me, give them a chance and they will declare it on rooftops - I mean panjabis don’t normally are shy about telling others who they r.Offcourse there are many non-PATHANS who pretend they r PATHANS cause PATHANS r known to be noble and warrior race.Kapoors in general maybe panjabis but the clan stemming from Prithivraj kapoor r definitely of PATHAN stock and they say it themselves so there is no point even discussing this.And manoj kumar defintely is not PATHAN and I never have come across any of his remarks where he asserts himself to be PATHAN so I do not know where u get this from.

@M Khan : no, Kapoors are Punjabi Khatri, which is also a warrior caste. They are purely Punjabis, being from Faisalabad (previously Lyallpur.) They say that they are Pathans because they have immersed themselves with Pushto culture. It is a fact.

Can’t believe you guys till talking about this.My last comment: beauty is only part of the lure to Pakistani men. Not all of us are good looking according to South Asian standards, which is basically you have to look white. Yet almost all of us are attractive to white women, regardless of facial features and skin color. The black guys have leveled the playing field sort of. According to white and spanish girls I know, its the aggressiveness, the intense look, the alternative to maintstream, whites, blacks latinos, and the “andhon main kana raja” effect when compared to others of South Asia. Spanish girls really dig how Pakistani men are always trying to be their own boss no matter what the industry, whether its in IT or retail. Pashtuns are better looking than most of us Punjabis, but this is moot argument because this is only true in South Asia as the rest of the world is already full of white guys. And like other white people, Pathan girls and Kashmiri girls in NYC prefer us darker Punjabis, and Pathan guys are tired of their own girls and are chasing dark and large bottom Dominican girls.

I’ve always warned my friends never to have a relationship with middle eastern men, especially from pakistan and iran.
I’ve been with a pakistani guy for about 10 months and it’s a living hell. First he lied to me about not being married, second he’s always drunk and starts saying random shit of how much he hates his life. And third he now wants me to go to to pakistan of all places and get married to him. Which I know for sure he’s gonna try to convert me.
For all women listening DO NOT, get caught with the mess I had to put up with. Because it seems as if all middle eastern/pakistani men are like this.
