Pak National Security Adviser to arrive in Delhi tomorrow

New Delhi, Oct.10 (ANI): National Security Adviser Mahmud Ali Duranni of Pakistan will be beginning his five day India visit from tomorrow .
Durani who is playing a key role in promoting Indo-Pak peace dialogue share very good rapport with top Indian officials, he will be meeting his Indian counterpart M K Narayanan, the spate of recent ceasefire violations, rise in cross border infiltration and Indian Embassy bombing in Kabul are likely to figure in the bilateral discussions.
Durani during his deliberations with the NSA and foreign secretary is also expected to prepare ground for the special meeting of Joint Anti terror Mechanism, the joint decision of calling this meeting was taken by Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari at New York last month.
The foreign secretaries of two countries are also likely to meet soon in Islamabad.
Mahmud Ali Durani during his five day India visit is also likely to meet Indian Prime Minister, External Affairs Minister and also the president of opposition BJP Rajnath Singh.
Durani who is handpicked by the newly elected democratic government of Pakistan was ambassador to the United States during the Musharrafs regime. His visit assume significance as it is coming in the backdrop of deadly terror strikes in both the countries, the visit is also first high level contact after the Zardari - Manmohan meeting in New York last month.
