Pak has begun investigation on Indian evidences: Pranab

Kolkata; Jan. 17 (ANI): External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee today said that his government has received information that Pakistan has begun working on evidences handed over by New Delhi on the Mumbai terror attacks.
Addressing a function of Association of National Exchanges Members of India Here, Pranab Mukherjee said the terror attacks targeted the countrys booming economy.
Mukherjee said, I cannot take it (Mumbai attack) as a sporadic isolation. Maybe I have a suspicious mind but my suspicious mind finds a design before choosing these targets and that design is to hurt Indian economy.
Mukherjee said India was a waiting how long Islamabad would take to act on the evidences on which it was learnt that the process was on.
He added, Diplomatic performance cannot be like switched off switched on. Pakistan has officially communicated to us that they have launched their process of enquiring from Jan 15. I have stated already that we have given them the information, materials, evidences which we have collected since the attack on November 26. We have handed over these papers to Pakistani authorities on January 5. We have received information from high commissioner located at Islamabad that they have started the process and let us see how much time it takes.(ANI)
