Bharatiya Janata Party New Delhi, Feb 20(ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) deputy leader in Lok Sabha Gopinath Munde on Sunday said that the opposition was ready to co-operate with the ruling Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government for the best results.

Addressing the media after the all-party meeting in the national capital, Munde stressed that the ruling coalition must be very quick in their actions regarding the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC).

“The whole opposition said that they wanted to run the House even in the last session. And we want this Budget Session to run well. That is why the whole opposition has demanded that if the government has decided about the JPC, then they should make the declaration about it on February 22. If they do it on that date, then the Parliament will run very smoothly,” Munde said.

Munde also said that the opposition would be aggressively discussing on various issues in the coming session.

The issues would include the 2010 Commonwealth Games scam and black money in Swiss Bank.

He said that discussions on the 2G scam would be left out as the Central Government has already decided to form a JPC to probe it.

The Budget Session of the Parliament is set to begin from February 21. (ANI)
