One more Indian student attacked in Australia
June 15th, 2009 - 1:09 pm ICT by ANIMelbourne, June 15 (ANI): Incidents of racial attacks on Indian students studying in Australia are not coming to an end, despite protests and Government assurances for their safety.
Another incident of an Indian student has surfaced in which an Indian boy in Melbourne’s eastern suburb was verbally abused and punched by two men on Friday night when he was about to get into his car in Boronia, media reports stated.
The 20-year old Sunny Bajaj, hailing from New Delhi, suffered a fractured finger, bruising to his back and a blood nose.
This was 14th such attack on any Indian student in Australia in less than a month.
Police are investigating into the incident. (ANI)
