Olympic torch lit in Pakistan at colourful ceremony

Islamabad, Apr 16 (ANI): The Olympic torch was lit at a colourful ceremony at the Islamabad Sports Complex on Wednesday.
President Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani handed over the torch to former Pakistan hockey team captain Samiullah.
The concluding ceremony of the Olympic torch will be held at the Liaquat Gymnasium, The News reported.
This is only the second time in the 112-year history of the Olympics that the torch has come to Pakistan. Earlier, it had come here in 1964.
Strict security measures were taken on the occasion. (ANI)
