Lahore , July 31 (ANI): International organisations will bear all the expenses (approximately Rs 700 crore) of the UN probe into the murder of former Pakistan prime minister Benazir Bhutto, said the countrys Advisor on Interior Affairs Rehman Malik.
Earlier, the Pakistan government had said that it was ready to bear all the expenses to be incurred in the UN probe.
In an interview with a local TV channel, Malik said that the investigation commission would have the power to call and question anyone, reported the Daily Times.
A foreign hand could not be ruled out in Benazirs murder, he said and added that the present government would not let Benazirs case become part of the past, and that government wanted an independent and just investigation.
On the occasion, Malik also accused India of involvement in disturbing the law and order situation in Pakistan and demanded it to break contact with Baitullah Mehsud. (ANI)
