Now, an eatery that offers food for pet pooches and their owners!

July 13th, 2008 - 6:16 pm ICT by ANI -

London, July 13 (ANI): You can now make your lovely pooch dig into his favourite dishes, all thanks to The Tempest restaurant in Christchurch, that offers delicious food for canines as well as for their owners.

The eatery has just taken a jaunty step down the road to social inclusion by introducing a menu for dogs.

The owner of the place said that a restaurant should welcome the whole family, which includes dog.

“We recently decided to welcome the whole family, and it occurred to me that the whole family includes the dog. We have a child’’s menu so why not have one for dogs as well?” Telegraph quoted Alison Ferhi, as saying.

The menu for dogs include - chicken pieces with rice, vegetables and reduced-stock gravy, garnished with dog biscuits, which costs 5 pounds; tuna chunks served with all the above, 5 pounds; or, for the discerning dog with ethical tastes, a vegetarian option at 3 pounds; rice, cheese and cream sauce, vegetables and cheese nuggets.
