No question of tie up with Raj Thackeray: Pawar

Mumbai, Oct 13 (ANI): Agriculture Minister and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar on Tuesday said there is no question of tying up with the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) founder Raj Thackeray.
“I am the chief of the party. My decision is final. There’s no question of aligning with the MNS,” Pawar told a private news channel.
Pawar, however, admitted that the MNS will be a force to reckon with and may divert votes from the Shiv Sena.
“The battle between Raj and Uddhav Thackeray will benefit the Congress-NCP alliance. The voters, who are getting attracted towards Raj will cause more damage to the Shiv Sena-BJP tie-up than the Congress-NCP,” he said.
“The Congress-NCP alliance will regain power. We will not take MNS support for government formation,” he added. (ANI)
