NHRC seeks Home Secretary’s reply on alleged CRPF killings in Kashmir
July 23rd, 2010 - 3:41 pm ICT by ANINew Delhi, July 23 (ANI): The National Human Rights Commission has forwarded a complaint to UNion Home Secretary, G.K. Pillai, drawing his attention to recent reports of alleged extra-judicial killings by the CRPF.
The commission said it had received a complaint from Sushobha Barve of the Centre for Dialogue and Reconciliation on July 21.
It said that after considering it, it has requested the Home Secretary to send his reply by August 19, 2010 in response to this complaint. (ANI)
