London, Sept 15 (ANI): Newcastle tops a poll of having the largest number of people going for cosmetic surgery in UK, according to a UK towns survey.

The poll, conducted by UKs largest cosmetic surgery company, The Harley Medical Group found that there is an upswing in breast enhancement surgery in the North-East that its Newcastle clinic performs one every day.

Breast augmentation is the most popular op, with a C cup being the top choice, The Sun quoted Anne Newby, manager of the local clinic, as saying.

She added: It usually adds a huge boost of confidence to our patients which is perhaps why its so popular.

London stood at the second position in the cosmetic surgery poll, attributing the increase in surgery, mainly to the popularity of Botox among City types.

Chelmsford, deep in Essex wives territory, came third in the survey of every postcode in Britain.

However, WAG-central Chester was named the face-lift capital of England and Wales.

While Nottingham residents topped in nose jobs, tubby Brummies scored high in liposuction. And Belfast people were more interested in getting their tummies tucked in.

On the other hand, Britains unofficial gay capital Brighton was at the top for laser hair removal, what with having nearly fifty percent of the patients being blokes.
