London, July 2 (ANI): One of Britain’s greatest UFO riddles reopened when a new witness emerged - 34 years after the alleged ‘close encounter’.

The Government is said to have covered up 1974’s event in North Wales, where scores of residents reported a massive tremor, strange lights in the sky in an incident dubbed the Welsh Roswell.

Retired gamekeeper Geraint Edwards, of Llandderfel, Denbighshire, told the makers of a new Channel Five documentary that he saw a hovering flying saucer before it disappeared into space at impossible speed.

It looked like a rugger ball, The Sun quoted Edwards, as saying.

Witnesses claimed that the aliens crashed in the Berwyn mountains, North Wales.

Geraints friend Pat Evans told of a bright orb. (ANI)
