New Maharashtra cabinet to be sworn in on Thursday
November 17th, 2010 - 2:45 pm ICT by ANIMumbai, Nov.17 (ANI): Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan has said, the list of Congress ministers to be inducted into his Cabinet is almost ready and the oath- taking ceremony is likely to be held tomorrow.
Chavan said he would speak to alliance partner the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) today on the issue of Cabinet expansion as requested by the Party Chief Sharad Pawar.
On the allotment of ministerial berths, he said the formula of 2009, which gave 23 portfolios to Congress and 20 to NCP, will be implemented. (ANI)
