New Bond film pays homage to Goldfinger with oil scene
October 6th, 2008 - 4:55 pm ICT by ANIWashington, Oct 6 (ANI): As a tribute to 007 classic Goldfinger, new James Bond movie Quantum Of Solace will recreate an iconic scene with new Bond girl Gemma Arterton.
In the movie, Arterton plays a spy for British intelligence service MI6, reports Contactmusic.
She shot a scene covered in oil as her character Agent Fields lies face down across a bed and drowns in the thick, sticky substance.
The images of the scene are reminiscent of the moment actress Shirley Eaton was killed in 1964s Goldfinger when she was asphyxiated after being covered from head to toe in gold paint. (ANI)
