Nafisa files nomination from Lucknow

Lucknow, Apr 8 (ANI): Former Miss India and Samajwadi Party candidate Nafisa Ali on Wednesday filed her nomination papers from Lucknow Lok Sabha seat.
Hundreds of SP workers accompanied her on way to the district magistrate office where she submitted her nomination papers.
Samajwadi party named Ms. Ali as its candidate after Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt was barred from contesting elections by the Supreme Court.
Samajwadi Party general secretary Amar Singh and actor Sanjay Dutt were also present on the occasion.
Earlier, Nafisa contested the 2004 Lok Sabha elections unsuccessfully from South Kolkata. (ANI)
