Rawalpindi , Aug 15 (ANI): Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf has reportedly accused PML-N leader and former premier Nawaz Sharif of creating political instability in the country, by repeatedly demanding his Impeachment and ultimately convincing the PPP to go for it.

Musharraf is said to have expressed this view at a meeting with PML-Q leaders Shujaat Hussain and Pervaiz Elahi at the President Camp office today. The issue of presidents impeachment also came under discussion in the meeting, The News quoted sources close to the Presidency as saying.

Maintaining that he would not resign, Musharraf said that he was elected by the Parliament as President for five years and would continue to play his constitutional role for the country.

Musharraf also said that he would face the impeachment motion of the ruling coalition, even as the Chaudhry brothers assured him of their full cooperation and support in this regard.

Meanwhile, PML-N spokesman rejected allegations of Musharraf against Nawaz Sharif and said people were aware who was responsible for this political chaos. President has already been impeached during general elections on February 18, but a few formalities are now left, he added.

Meanwhile, senior PML-N leader Ch. Nisar Ali Khan repeated that his party was not in favour of giving Musharraf a safe exit and that his next fate is to face the court of justice.

Nisar said that number of Opposition PML-Q members wanted to join the PML-N or the PPP. On the occasion, he also clarified that those who stabbed the PML-N in the back would not be included in N league. (ANI)
