Mumbai, Apr 22 (ANI): The Trident-Oberoi Hotel, which has been shut since the November 2008 Mumbai terror attack, will reopen on April 24 under tight security cover.
The hotel management hosted the mediapersons for preview of the redone hotel on Wednesday following its 40 million dollar renovation.
The 550-room Trident, which brings in nearly a quarter of the annual revenue of the Oberoi-owned East India Hotel Limited (EHL), is a favourite of foreign business executives because of its location.
According to the management, the hotel has been completely transformed to offer the highest standards in terms of facilities.
The new hotel will now have 287 guest rooms. The suites have been increased to 73 from 22, including two presidential suites.
The Oberoi, which was built in 1986, has hosted famous guests, including former US President Bill Clinton and the late pop star Michael Jackson. (ANI)
