Mongolian President to visit India from Sept. 13 to 16

New Delhi, Sep. 9 (ANI): Mongolian President Tsakhia Elbegdorj and his wife will pay a state visit to India from September 13 to 16.
Elbegdorj will be accompanied by a high level official delegation, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Minister of Education, Science and Culture and senior parliamentarians.
Elbegdorj will be accorded a ceremonial welcome at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on September 14.
He will be received by President Pratibha Patil, who will also host a banquet in his honour.
During the visit, President Elbegdorj is expected to hold talks with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, which will include bilateral relations and regional and international issues of mutual interest.
Following his official engagements in New Delhi, the Mongolian President will visit Agra, Bodh Gaya and Mumbai.
In Mumbai, he will address an India-Mongolia Business Forum being organized by the Confederation of India Industry (CII) on 16 September 2009.
A 25-member Mongolian business delegation accompanying the President will be able to interact with their Indian counterpart on this occasion.
This will be Elbegdorj’s first official visit abroad after assuming office as the President of Mongolia in June 2009. (ANI)
