Mobile phones seized from former RJD MP Shahabuddin in Siwan jail
October 22nd, 2010 - 2:58 pm ICT by ANISiwan (Bihar), Oct 22 (ANI): A massive raid in the Bihar’s Siwan Jail led to the recovery of three mobile phones allegedly from Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MP Mohammad Shahabuddin, who has been convicted in seven criminal cases. According to sources, a team of district officials carried out the raid in the jail following a tip-off that Shahabuddin was using mobile phones to influence the ongoing Bihar Assembly polls.
Three SIM cards and two chargers were also seized. (ANI)
