Mig-27 crashes in West Bengal
July 24th, 2010 - 2:36 pm ICT by ANIJalpaiguri (West Bengal), July 24 (ANI): A Mig-27 fighter aircraft crashed in Mainaguri in West Bengal’s Jalpaiguri District on Saturday morning.
The incident took place near the Hashimara air base at around 10 : 30 a.m. today.
The pilot of the airport is, however, reported to be safe.
Earlier on February 16, an Indian Air Force pilot was killed as the MiG-27 crashed near Siliguri in West Bengal. (ANI)
