Maoists trigger landmine blast in Orissa
October 18th, 2010 - 2:55 pm ICT by ANIMalkangiri (Orissa), Oct 18 (ANI): Maoists triggered a landmine blast near a BSF camp in Orissa’s Malkangiri district on Monday.
According to sources, the blast was set off along a road at Sikhapalli near here apparently targeting BSF personnel.
No one was injured as there was no movement near the site when the landmine exploded.
However, a portion of the road was damaged in the incident.
Combing operation had been intensified in the area to track the militants. (ANI)
