West Midnapore (West Bengal), Nov.15 (ANI): Suspected Maoists beat an alleged wine-seller at Lalgarh village in West Bengal’s West Midnapore District on Monday.
It has been reported hat the suspected ultras first pour hooch on his head and then slammed him with sticks.
Residents alleged that the victim abused villagers after drinking liquor and sold it in the locality.
“This wine seller sales liquor in our villages and after drinking it he abuses villagers. That is why he has been punished,” said Bikram Mahato, a resident. (ANI)
