Maoists blast school building in Bihar’s Gaya District
March 16th, 2011 - 3:18 pm ICT by ANIGaya, Mar 16 (ANI): Armed Maoists blew up a state-run school building and a control room of a mobile tower at two different places in Bihar’s Gaya District last night.
According to sources, over fifty ultras triggered the dynamite blast at Khajurahi village under Banke Bazar police station to blow up the school building.
The Naxalites also burnt the control room of the BSNL tower at Lakhua village under the jurisdiction of Imamganj police station.
The Maoists had earlier on Monday night destroyed two mobile towers and burnt a generator room near the Dumaria police station in Gaya.
They also burnt the generator room of a private telecom firm. (ANI)
