Maoist killed in Jharkhand’s Singhbhum District
April 23rd, 2010 - 12:58 pm ICT by ANIWest Singhbhum (Jharkhand), Apr 23 (ANI): A Maoist was killed and two CRPF personnel were injured in a fierce gunbattle between security forces and the Maoists at Bandu village in Jharkhand’s West Singhbhum District on Friday.
According to sources, the encounter took place when the Maoists opened fire on a CRPF team. In the return fire, a Maoist was shot dead.
All injured have been admitted to a hospital in Chakradharpur. (ANI)
