- London, May 13 (ANI): Manchester United stars toasted winning the Premier League with a 100,000-pound gambling spree - but looked like they had been relegated.
The glum-looking team couldn’t even crack a smile as they went into the glitzy Manchester235 casino.
“They were probably drained. I would hate to see their faces if they lost,” The Sun quoted a witness, as saying.
The players’ moods soon lifted after swigging champagne in the VIP section, then climbing on chairs to chant victory songs.
Even the WAGS joined, taking turns to wear their fellas’ treasured championship medals.
The team slept off any hangovers at the Lowry Hotel, where Ronaldo left yesterday with a two-fingered salute - perhaps hinting at a double with the Champions League final coming up. (ANI)
