Manmohan Singh briefs President Patil on Lokpal Bill issue

New Delhi, Apr 8 (ANI): The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, called on President Pratibha Devisingh Patil at the Rashtrapati Bhavan here on Friday and briefed her about the efforts being made by the Government to resolve the differences with the civil society activists on the proposed Lokpal Bill.
“The meeting lasted for about 35 minutes. They discussed about various issues of national and international importance and also the President’s forthcoming State Visit to Mauritius,” said a President’s Secretariat release. (ANI)
