Manipur Advocate General injured in shoot-out
March 7th, 2010 - 12:55 pm ICT by ANIImphal, Mar 7 (ANI): The Advocate General of Manipur, Nongmeikapam Kotiswar Singh, was injured in a militant attack last evening.
According to sources, militants opened fire on Singh as he was returning to Imphal along with Works Minister Ranjit Singh and Tribal Minister D D Thaisi from Ukhrul after attending a function there.
Singh was hit by bullets on his chest and arm. His condition is stated to be serious. (ANI)
