Malta Deputy PM meets SM Krishna
January 9th, 2010 - 2:23 pm ICT by ANINew Delhi, Jan 9 (ANI): Visiting Deputy Prime Minister of Malta, Tonio Borg met External Affairs Minister SM Krishna here on Friday.
The two leaders are expected to have discussed issues of mutual and bilateral concern.
Borg also held a meeting with India’s Junior Foreign Minister Parineet Kaur.
Earlier Borg inaugurated the Maltese High Commission in New Delhi. The step is considered as important for the development of bilateral ties between the two countries.
The visit of Borg follows a tour made by a trade delegation last month. (ANI)
