New Delhi, July 15 (ANI): Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) chief Ram Vilas Paswan will jointly kickstart their election campaign for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections by air dashing 40 places in the state in the next 10 days beginning this Friday.
“From July 16 till July 25, I along with Lalu Yadav will visit 40 places, on an average four places a day by riding a helicopter together. Further, after the Monsoon Session of Parliament is over, we will again tour the State as part of the election campaign,” said Paswan addressing the national convention of his party workers in New Delhi on Wednesday.
“The seat sharing agreement with the RJD would be finalised in the next 10 days,” he added asserting that there is no scope for any other party to join their alliance.
He urged the people to overthrow the Nitish Kumar Government in the elections in Bihar less than four months away, and charged Kumar with double standards and hypocrisy and said these were being exposed as the Assembly elections approached.
Paswan dismissed all speculations of his joining the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government, and stated his alliance with the RJD to be ‘rock solid’.
Paswan alleged that Nitish Kumar was going to the doorsteps of those he had accused of being criminal, while proclaiming his intention to restore law and order.
“It was no different on the secular front, with Nitish Kumar allowing the RSS to hold its biggest rally in Patna after a gap of over two decades under the protection of his government,” said Paswan.
Paswan promised that the LJP and the RJD would make all the scandals and embezzlements public within six months of their coming to power. (ANI)
