Labourers rescued from debris in Delhi

New Delhi, Apr 26 (ANI): Rescue workers extracted labourers who got buried under the debris of a newly-constructed four-storey building in New Delhi on Sunday.
The building collapsed at Sector 6 of Rohini area where some labourers were giving final touches to it.
“We heard a loud sound and within 2-3 seconds the building collapsed. It became all dusty after that and we could not make out what exactly happened. People panicked; they thought it might be an earthquake, they later realized that a building has collapsed,” Rahul, a local.
A local legislator, along with police officials reached the site to oversee the rescue work.
“Three people have been taken out safely it was a miraculous escape for them. Portion of the debris has been removed. Two more people are expected to be buried inside and we pray that they are also taken out safely,” said Kulwant Rana, MLA the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Police, meanwhile, have ordered a probe into the incident.(ANI)
