Kyndiah condemns Assam blastsOctober 31st, 2008 - 2:10 pm ICT by ANI
New Delhi, Oct 31 (ANI): Condemning the serial blasts in Assam, Union Minister of Tribal Affairs P.R. Kyndiah has said that people of North East should unitedly stand against acts of terrorism.
“The people of Assam in particular and of the North East in general, should stand united against any terrorists or terrorism acts, whose only motive is to spread fear and terror,” Kyndiah said.
The Minister further said that the terrorists behind such inhuman and brutal deeds should be traced and caught immediately and given due punishment according to the law.
“The series of bomb blasts that rocked Assam, resulting in the death of many innocent lives and injuring innumerable citizens is shocking and is an act of cowardice. These heinous acts of terrorism by some cowardly persons should be condemned,” he added. (ANI)
