Kharge inaugurates State-of-the-Art ESIC hospital at Manesar
March 28th, 2011 - 10:09 pm ICT by ANIManesar (Gurgaon), Mar 28 (ANI): Union Minister of Labour and Employment Mallikarjun Kharge inaugurated the 100-bedded state-of-the-art ESIC Hospital at Manesar, near Gurgaon in Haryana on Monday.
In his inaugural speech, Kharge said that the ESI Corporation is committed to work for the welfare of workers and improvement in their quality of life and for providing all possible social security to them. For providing the best medical services to the Insured Persons and their families of Manesar area, the ESI Corporation built this 100 bedded ESI Hospital at Manesar.
“This hospital now caters to the need of 55000 industrial workers of IMT area and 30000 industrial workers of Dharuhera. This Hospital is a long cherished dream of workers of Manesar area, which has come into reality now,” he added.
Kharge also told that this ESIC Hospital has all the modern medical facilities comparable to any corporate sector Hospital.
The establishment of state-of-the-art hospital at Manesar will immensely help the workers employed in the industrial belt of IMT Manesar, Dharuhera and Gurgaon. There are around 6000 employers and above four lakh Insured Persons and about 16 lakh beneficiaries in Gurgaon and Manesar Area.
The hospital has been built up in three acres of land with an estimated cost of about Rs. 100.00 Crores. The ESI Hospital Manesar, is unique in its feature which is centrally air conditioned, with multispeciality facilities.
The hospital has all the facilities comparable to any corporate hospital in the country. It will provide indoor, outdoor, emergency and diagnostic services to the Insured workers of Manesar in particular and of the Gurgaon in general.
The ESI Corporation has started providing services to the insured persons through its upgraded and modified hospitals and is also adopting policy for providing medical benefits as per the need and choice of insured persons anywhere in India.
The corporation is also entering into tie-up arrangements with other hospitals on cashless basis. (ANI)
