Kathmandu, June 17 (ANI): The Communist Party of Nepal-Unified Marxist-Leninist (CPN-UML) General Secretary Jhalanath Khanal has stressed on the need for unity among the left parties in the country as per the wish of Nepali people.
Speaking to reporters in Dang this morning, Khanal said unity among the left parties in Nepal is possible only after the improving of relation between UML and the Maoists.
According to Nepalnews, the two big left parties failed to improve their relations over the years blaming each other for it.
Khanal also claimed the three parties would reach a consensus by this evening on election of president and other unresolved issues.
Khanal suggested proposing a person whose name has not been forwarded till date as the president of the country. (ANI)
