Kerala polls: Congress’s scrutiny committee meets to finalise candidates
March 21st, 2011 - 12:33 pm ICT by ANINew Delhi, Mar 21 (ANI): A high-level scrutiny committee of the Congress party will meet here this evening to finalise its candidates for the upcoming assembly polls in Kerala.
The party will release its election manifesto by Tuesday.
Meanwhile, one of the main parties in the United Democratic Front (UDF) fold, the Kerala Congress (M), will announce its candidates in Kottayam today.
The polling for 140 assembly constituencies in Kerala will be held on April 13. (ANI)
