Washington, Sept 19 (ANI): Katie Holmes made her Broadway debut amid anti-Scientologist protesters in Manhattan.
About 30 protesters lined up at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre and chanted “Scientology kills!”
Some wore masks like in the movie “V for Vendetta,” and one poster read: “FREE KATIE.”
But the 29-year-old actress indeed won praises for her act at the preview performance for “All My Sons.”
“I love Katie Holmes,” Fox News quoted Melissa Doyle, a New Yorker, as saying.
“I think she’’s a great actress and right now, I really love her for her fashion, her style! I think she really kind of differentiates herself among young Hollywood. Plus, she’’s a mom and I just think she’’s a really good role model,” she added.
Hubby Tom Cruise was also present at the theatre, where he mingled and shook hands with some other theatergoers who took photos and clapped. (ANI)

Katie has obviously shown her real self by her performance, which is what this article should be about. Certainly Scientology has done her and a lot of people well.

Since they insist on attacking people’s religion in Hollywood, let’s see what Hollywood thinks of religion and whether they depend on it…
Anonymous need to learn Humility and respecting people. Val Kilmer, said, “Humility comes with the recognition that God is greater than any of us.”
Even Charles Darwin said: “I hardly see how religion & science can be kept as distinct as [Edward Pusey] desires… But I most wholly agree… that there is no reason why the disciples of either school should attack each other with bitterness.” (Letter to J. Brodie Innes, November 27 1878)
JEAN-CLAUDE VAN DAMME
Jean-Claude Van Damme says that the pressure to make movies led him to seek solace in drugs… But he says the bad old days of abuse are behind him, and that he has God to thank for it. “God helped me,” he says. “I believed in God big time. I’ve loved God for a couple of years. Some people don’t like to hear about God. I came back very strong and decent. I’m going to do my best to be a good person.”
DENZEL WASHINGTON
This famous actor, who has played in box-office record breaking films such as Malcolm X and Hurricane, expresses his sincere feelings for God during interviews:
“My priorities are very clear in my mind: God, family… That is God’s plan, not just mine…I don’t have to take the weight of the world to bed with me every night. Instead, I count my blessings and sleep very well.”
JIM CARREY
Jim Carrey, winner of the Golden Globe best actor in drama and comedy award in 1998 and 1999, described during an interview how his talent was a blessing from God,
“I’ve prayed to God that I would have depth as an artist and have things to say…”
JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE
First and foremost, I want to thank my Lord… for blessing me with every gift including the gift of music and for the opportunity to share it with the world… My Lord lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil…
SANTANA and the band EVERCLEAR
The 1999 album “Supernatural” and the lyrics of the song “Put Your Lights On,” go like this… “…God, don’t let me lose my nerve … …La ill aha ill Allah” (There is no God but God - said in Islam)

The protestors were not protesting her, her beliefs, or the play. They were protesting the crimes committed by the Scientology organization. The Church of Scientology NYC org was 250 feet away from the theater.
They are concerned about her and the safety of many others who are in danger from the Scientology. Scientology is under investigation by governments around the world for crimes ranging from fraud to murder.
