Kanpur, Nov. 15 (ANI): A hotel in Kanpur is playing perfect host to Sri Lankan players during their stay here ahead of their second match of the three-match test series.
‘Landmark Hotel’ is following dietary instructions provided to them by the Sri Lankan authorities.
“We are fully prepared to play host to the Sri Lankan team when they arrive here. We are following the guidelines we have received over the necessary things,” said Vinay Dheer, General Manager, Landmark hotel.
“We have been told what soup to be served, what preparation of the chicken, pasta. Then they have asked for lamb and vegetable stew. Stew has less calories, less fat so we have to take care of this. Lightly fried vegetables will be served. We will cook in olive oil only,” he added.
Apart from following dietary instructions, the hotel authorities are taking all necessary security precautions to make the Lankans stay a pleasant one.
“Apart from taking care of their dietary requirements, we have also taken care of other facilities and to make sure that their stay in the hotel is comfortable,” Dheer said.
Kumar Sangakkara-led Sri Lankan squad will be coming to Kanpur for the second test match beginning November 24.
The first match will be played in Ahmedabad from November 16. (ANI)
